Intro and Thesis

Thesis:
The U.S. was justified on dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki because those were the two main military targets. Japan attacked Pearl Harbor killing many innocent men, woman, and children. It quickly put an end to war.

Intro:
On December 7, 1941, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. On that day President Franklin D. Roosevelt spoke and said " a day which will live in infamy." The Empire of Japan air forces and naval deliberately attacked the United States of America. According to the United States, they believe that Japan had intentionally planned on attacking Pearl     Harbor because of the distance from Japan to Hawaii. It took Japan many days or possibly even weeks. Time during the intervening, the Japanese government had deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and the expression of hope for continued peace. As years went by Franklin D. Roosevelt became ill and died on April 12, 1945, and then Truman became took over as president. Truman decided that the United States should drop atomic bombs on Japan. He also wanted to save as many American lives.
