History
The history between World War II, on Aug 6, 1945, an American B-29 bomber dropped the worlds first deployed atomic bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The explosion wiped out 90 percent of the city. This action was aimed at the enemy target helping end the devastating war of World War II. If you were far away and not even close to Hiroshima you could still see the bright light of the atomic bombs explosion. Three days later a B-29 bomber dropped another A-bomb on Nagasaki. This scared the Japanese people to surrender. President Truman's goal was this exactly because he did not want any more U.S. casualties. Japan's emperor Hirohito announced his country's unmitigated surrender in World War II in a radio address on Aug. 15 there for ending the war. If the U.S. had not dropped the atomic bomb on these city's the war could have had a different outcome and more U.S. deaths. The atomic bomb was a beneficial invention in history.
